The school gates open at 8:30am with the expectation that all children should be in the playground by 8:45am so that they are ready for the school day to begin at 8:50am.

Parents of our Reception, Year One and Year Two children wait in the playground with their child until their teacher comes outside to collect them. To encourage independence, we ask that parents do not accompany their child into the cloakroom or classroom.

Children from Year Three, Four, Five and Six enter the school building independently when the morning whistle is blown in the central playground.

We ask that parents ensure their children attend school punctually and ready for their day.

Parents are notified in advance of days where their child may require specific items i.e. PE days, swimming lessons, clubs, school trips.

At the end of the school day, parents meet their children in the playground.

Please note that 3:15pm is the time lessons finish; the children then collect their coats and bags before coming out into the playground to greet their parents.

It is important that we know who is collecting your child, therefore we ask that you always let us know if it is someone different as we cannot let children go with people who are strangers to us unless we have your permission.

We aim to offer a variety of after-school activities each term. Parents/carers will need to provide written consent for each activity in advance. Please see our extra-curricular page for a sampe of the range of activities on offer.
