Breakfast and After School Club

Wake Me Up! Breakfast Club

Many of the children at St Matthew’s, from nursery up to Year 6, enjoy attending our 'Wake Me Up! Breakfast Club' which runs each morning in the school hall, by our own school staff, from 8.00 am until school starts.

The children enjoy a healthy, freshly prepared breakfast and a drink.

There are a wide range of activities on offer including colouring and drawing, puzzles, board games, reading, construction toys, as well as supervised games.

Children do not have to attend every day; we can take them on a more flexible basis.

Breakfast club costs £5.00 per child per day. This needs to be booked and paid for, in advance, via the Arbor parent portal or Arbor app.

Stars! After School Childcare Club

St Matthew’s School offers your child a chance to join our own after-school childcare club:  ‘Stars!’, which runs every day after school. This facility is run by our own school staff, Monday to Friday term time only.

A variety of activities are offered, for example; gardening, languages, forest school, games, fitness and more. The children are given a snack and a drink.

Stars! runs in 2 sessions and arbor allows you to book either 1 session at a time or both, should you need it.

Stars! After School Club - Session 1

3:15pm – 4:30pm

Stars! After School Club - Session 2

4:30pm – 5:30pm

Stars! After school club is £5 per session (£10 for both sessions). This needs to be booked and paid for, in advance, via the Arbor parent portal or Arbor app. Childcare vouchers can be used.

Collection from After School Club is from the Hall Doors in the staff car park. On occasion, the children may be on the playground, field or another area of the school. If the children are not in the hall, please go to the Office who will collect your child. Please do not enter the school premises.

If you have any questions about our ‘Wake Me Up! Breakfast Club’ or ‘Stars! After School Club!’ please speak to the School Office or your child’s class teacher.
